As of April 2015, new high school graduation requirements and options under Michigan’s Merit Curriculum (MMC) went into effect. The new requirements – among additional changes – will allow students taking Career Technical Education courses, such as health science, welding and agriscience, to count those courses toward graduation credits. The JCISD has made available a Guide for Parents to help students and their families to understand these updated requirements. Printed versions of this guide are available at most Jackson County high schools, and is available electronically through the link above.
