Jackson County: Home to your
Connected Community Schools!
Jackson County’s 13 public districts are proud to be your Connected Community Schools!
Each of our county’s districts is working together to connect its students to the resources, learning, and opportunities that are most important to today’s student and family.
Special thanks to JPS senior and Reflector editor Taylor Lawrence for the beautiful JPS photo!
In addition to district partnerships and collaborations, our county’s Connected Community Schools are working in partnership with local community and business organizations; creating new, advanced opportunities to support our students as they work to achieve success in school, and beyond!
Together, each district is connected to advanced learning, through unbundled options, shared learning services, support programs (such as Energizing Education), AP classes, online learning, and more!
Jackson county districts are connected to careers, with exceptional, pertinent, hands-on training at the Jackson Area Career Center; and each district offers its students an Early/Middle College through the JAC3 Early/Middle College Program!
Connected to college prep, with resources like the College and Career Access Center!
…and connected to success! Connected Community Schools each work with organizations and networks such as Cradle 2 Career as well as with each other to provide shared academic opportunities.
Jackson County's Connected Community Schools are connected to learning, connected to the full resources of our community, and connected to your student’s success!
