The Jackson Area College and Career Connection: Jackson County's NEW Early/Middle College!
The JAC3 Early/Middle College Program is a unique learning program and pathway for Jackson County high school students! Participants simultaneously earn their high school diploma, an Associate Degree, a technical/career credential, and the opportunity for employment upon graduation—all while remaining enrolled at their local high school. The Jackson Area Career Center’s FIRST Robotics team – the Jacktown Vectors – is looking for students and adults with diverse talents to be part of this year’s robot build and competitions. Join us for an informational meeting for interested students, parents, and mentors on Monday, November 9th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Career Center.
The Career Center’s FIRST Robotics Team, the JackTown Vectors, earned high honors at the March 14 Woodhaven FIRST Robotics Competition held at Woodhaven High School. In response to the team’s extensive and long-standing support of other Jackson County FIRST teams, the JackTown Vectors received the district’s Engineering Inspiration Award.
