• The Jackson Area Career Center Job Opportunities page is intended to help advertise local employment opportunities for current students and JACC alumni.

The Jackson County Intermediate School District and The Jackson Area Career Center are not responsible for safety, wages, working conditions, compliance with youth employment/child labor laws, if applicable, or any other aspect of off-campus private employment.  All hiring, scheduling, and compensation for job postings are handled between the employer and the student (and the student’s parent/guardian, if the student is a minor).  Employers and students are reminded that minors who are offered employment and the employer must comply with the work permit process administered by the student’s “home” school.

Employers and students are urged to perform due diligence when offering, applying for, or accepting employment by requesting references or any additional information needed to establish qualifications and credentials, confirm acceptable working conditions, etc., to ensure an overall fit between employer and applicant.

Job postings are displayed for 30 days. Employers who are interested in posting a job to this job page should contact the Career Center main office at 517-768-5100 and ask to speak with a Work Based Learning Coordinator.
