JCISD Supports Jackson County 4-H
Head, Heart, Hands, and Health are the four Hs in 4‑H, and they are the four values members work on through fun and engaging programs.4-H Pledge:I pledge my head to clearer thinking,
My heart to greater loyalty,
My hands to larger service,
and my health to better living, for my club, my community, my country, and my world.Camp McGregor hosts the 4-H and Rose City Horse Shows during the spring and summer. This is another example of our commitment to community support. 4-H activities at Camp McGregor are provided free of charge and the public is welcome to attend. We recommend you bring folding chairs and drinking water. Please note for safety reasons that dogs are not allowed and motorcycles must not be operated around the arena area. Horses may not be taken beyond the arenas or near the observatory.
Stay tuned for 2020 dates!Because Camp McGregor is school property, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited. Participants must cleanup after their horses and place horse manure in the woods. There is absolutely no dumping/cleaning out horse trailers on Camp property. If you are interested in participating or learning more about 4-H, please contact Britney James at the MSU Jackson County Extension 4-H office at (517) 788-4292.
