    Patient Care Technician Program

    Patient Care Technicians are health professionals who provide direct patient care within their regulated scope of practice.  They perform basic nursing assistant tasks (as delegated by the nursing or medical staff) which may include obtaining patient vital signs and other data, and performing ECG’s and phlebotomy tasks.

    Pre-requisites:
    High School Diploma or GED, 9th grade reading level, CNA certification

    Immunizations: 
    Hepatitis B, negative TB skin test

    Cost: 
    $3200.00 (with monthly payment plans available) with most supplies included. Students are required to cover the cost of disposable examination gloves, a blood pressure monitoring kit, hand watch, and pink and gray scrubs to wear to each class. 

    Grades:
    Students must complete each session with an overall grade of 75% or higher to continue to complete the course, be placed into an externship, and receive a certificate of completion.

    Certifications:
    National Certification examination cost through the National Center for Competency Testing is not included in the tuition cost.
