Fingerprinting is done at the Jackson County ISD building every Tuesday and Thursday by appointment ONLY.
Due to recent MDHHS orders, we are adjusting our hours of operation to 9am - 3pm through Tuesday, December 8. If you are starting a new position and need to get fingerprinted, we encourage you to first contact the Jackson Police Department at 517-788-4100 or IdentoGO to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to get fingerprinted at either of those locations, see below for details on how to schedule at appointment at our building.
To make an appointment the applicant needs to call the JCISD front desk at 517-768-5209 and ask the staff for available dates and times. At the time of the appointment the applicant MUST HAVE the following with them:
- Valid U.S. driver's license or State-issued ID
- $50 cash, credit or debit ONLY (no personal checks)
- Proper LiveScan Request form from the district with agency ID and fingerprint code (SE, SV)
After the fingerprinting appointment the applicant MUST return the original LiveScan form to the District that requested their prints.
