The Kit Young Center has five contained classrooms primarily for Moderately Cognitively Impaired (MoCI) students. The purpose of its programs is to provide community education, mobility, pre-vocational and vocational training in various real life settings, resulting in successful community utilization and development of skills of community independence. Our student populations' developmental delays preclude their ability to reach a typical adult level of functioning. We build on each student's individual level of functioning, fostering the attainment of their highest possible level of achievement.
