    Workforce Initiative

    MWSE! is dedicated to making sure that businesses have the skilled workforce they need and that jobseekers are connected to prospective employers. SCMW! also seeks to match company needs with the jobseeker's interests and skill set. Workforce initiatives are driven by alignment with economic development, education, and strong relationships within the business community.  

    • Economic Development: Partnership for Regional Solutions connects economic and workforce development
    • Education: Regional Business Fellowship connects businesses and educators to develop curriculums and training tools.
    • Business Solutions Professional Certification: Serves the business community through collaborative workforce teams, economic development, and education professionals
    • Entrepreneurship: Provide programs and resources that evaluate business opportunities and develop action plans for business ownership
    • STEM: Survey and initiatives in Science, Technology, Engineering & Math

    MWSE! Youth Activities

    Micigan Works! Southeast youth activities are for any individual between the ages of 16 and 21 who are seeking to: gain employment, complete education, or continue education. Eligibility is based upon income and performance standards.

    Enrollment

     The following documentation is required for enrollment:

    • Copy of birth certificate
    • Signed Social Security card
    • Michigan ID or driver's license
    • Past 6 months of family income
