• Finance Department 

    In addition to managing the budget and business affairs of the ISD, and overseeing operations of facilities on the ISD’s 3 campuses, the JCISD Finance Department also provides business services to many of the local districts throughout the county. As an affordable resource to the local districts we serve, the JCISD Finance Department provides business services in the areas of overall business management, payroll and accounts payable. Specific elements of these service areas include, but are not limited to:  

    •  Budget preparation
    •  YTD Performance tracking versus budget
    •  Quarterly and annual financial reports
    •  Audit preparation
    •  Preparation of payroll direct deposits (checks only if required
    •  Submission of payroll reports to ORS, IRS and the Michigan Department of Treasury
    •  W-2s
    •  Checks and/or EFT payment to vendors
    •  Issue 1099’s
    •  Bank reconciliations
