Early Childhood Program

The Early Childhood Special Education department at the Jackson County Intermediate School District provides individualized educational programming for young, exceptional children between infancy and six years of age. JCISD is committed to ensuring that infants, toddlers and preschoolers with disabilities are afforded opportunities for nurturing social and emotional health and early learning in high quality environments. Family-centered services are provided through family-driven goals within the child's natural environment for infants and toddlers, and in the classroom setting for the preschool population.
