Local Based Special Education Programs
The JCISD Operated Local Based classrooms are special education classrooms located in partnering local school districts. These classrooms provide special education programs and services to students with disabilities, within a special education classroom at a local school district. Students in the JCISD local based classroom require specially designed instruction to meet their academic, social, communication, and functional/adaptive skill needs; provided by a special education teacher.
